I am honored to say that I am a 3rd generation artist and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I like to refer to myself as a "nurse by day and an artist by night". I am able to do what I love on a daily basis. As I navigate though the ups and downs in life, I find art is my "Zen" that grounds me.
My grandmother Lillian was a talented oil painter (pictured on the right, along with her mother pictured on the left) and my mother Lori was also an artist and a jeweler. Unfortunately, both have passed away. Recently, I lost my mom on Mothers Day in 2019 due to a long courageous battle with leukemia. Instead of dwelling on her loss, I plan to continue to share the talents I inherited with others. 10% of all proceeds in my art sales will be donated to the American Cancer Society each Mothers Day.
My two daughters were also blessed with artistic talents.

I enjoy all kinds of art but have really enjoyed using alcohol inks. Four years ago my mom created an "alcohol ink kit" as a Christmas gift for me and my daughters. I put the box away and forgot about it and one summer day, I took the box out of my closet, and my girls and I had a blast playing with all of the inks and tiles provided. After that day, I began to research the medium more and began to take online classes. I hope you enjoy my original designs as much as I do.

I'll always remember my mom silently reminded me on a daily basis, "Enjoy the little things in life including all the details in nature, color everywhere, and sounds around you-life is short so enjoy each day you have".
